CC Girls Break Records

The Brookside Girls Cross Country team scored 32 points at New London to win their 3rd consecutive race, and their 4th out of the last 5.  Mackenzie Glass pulled away in the final mile to finish 3rd in 20:50, breaking her own school record of 21:13.  Madissyn Valdez (21:06) and Alicia Fike (21:08) finished 4th and 5th.  Marissa Meyers (10th) and Samantha Glass (12th) were the next 2 scorers for the Lady Cardinals.

Autumn Saddler also ran her personal record time, finishing 33rd in the 9 team race in a time of 24:44.

The boys ran as a nice pack, with the top 5 finishing just 1 minute and 3 seconds apart.  Josh Thompson was the leader in 30th.  Tyler Warren (19:48), Andrew Mohrbach (20:46), Perry Hall (22:40), and Logan Valdez (24:54) ran personal record times for the boys.

The next race will be the PAC Championship on Thursday October 12th at the Carlisle Horse Trails.  The girls race at 5 and the boys at 5:30.
