August Soccer Schedule

The BHS Boys Soccer team will begin preparations for the 2020 season on Monday, August 3rd from 5:45-7:15 p.m.  Make sure you have a valid physical and all Final Forms are complete prior to practice.  Shin guards, cleats, and a water bottle are required. 2020 Fall Sports Update

Per the OHSAA’s memo to schools on July 31st, all Fall sports practices are permitted to proceed as planned.  Since Volleyball is considered a low contact sport, scrimmages and contests against other schools are permitted.  Cross Country, Football, and Soccer are not permitted to participate in scrimmages and contests against other schools at this time

Practice Schedule

Our season starts Aug. 3rd, we will practice Monday-Friday 4:00 to 5:30. Players will need all final forms done, concussion test and updated physicals to practice.  I will have a parents meeting after practice on Mon. Aug. 3rd. Possible super scrimmage Aug. 8th, Scrimmage at Sandusky Aug. 11th.  Our first game is Aug. 21st vs

Moore and Toth win LC8 Conference

Shawn Moore and Alex Toth both won the LC8 Tournament. Team took 3rd with the help of Luke Walls 3rd Logan Fowler 3rd Manny Crabtree 5th Micheal Vimpeny 2nd Mark Durell 2nd Kris Kostohryz 3rd RJ Chandler 2nd and Brad Horinger 2nd. This team worked hard all season and it was great to see them

Girls Basketball Postseason Awards

The girls basketball team has had a great many accomplishments this season, and some of the accolades include: School record for most steals in a game–Sarah Torres 8 vs Lincoln West School record (tied) for most deflections in a game–Sarah Torres 13 vs Lincoln West Lorain County Recognition: Sarah Torres 1st team Sarah Torres 1st

Girls Basketball Defeats Wickliffe in District Tournament

In 1996 Brookside High School Girls Basketball won the Sectional championship. In the years since, the Lady Cards have not won a single tournament game. That is, they had not won one until February 19th  2020, because on that day the team defeated a scrappy Wickliffe team in the North Ridgeville District first round tournament

Lady Cards Dominate on Senior Night!

The girls basketball team has improved dramatically over the course of this season, even when the scoreboard didn’t necessarily show it, but on senior night the Cards were flying high. Before the game started Brookside honored our two outstanding seniors, Jelene Williams and Emma Gillespie, and then proceeded to honor them even further by completing
