Multiple Teams · Cards Tame Tigers!

The girls basketball team has been a bit snakebitten early this season, with four losses by a total of just 22 points. But the tides turned in their favor Monday night, as they dominated Warrensville Heights from the opening tip to the final buzzer. The final score was 74-30. The key stretch came after a Warrensville basket to make the score 8-4 Brookside in the middle of the first period. From that moment until the end of the second quarter, Brookside outscored the Tigers 27-4 to blow the game wide open at 35-8 with 16 minutes to play. It was a great night for numerous Cardinals, who had all 12 players score at least one basket, with four players in double figures.
