Once again the one-two punch of Jukin Jayden Nazario (19 points) and No Look Nolan Waechter (17 points) was too much for Oberlin. Oberlin hung around the first quarter but we blew it open in the second quarter with a 20-2 run with these 2 boys scoring all 20 points. The team defense was outstanding again with some great rotations. Their main guy ran into our Dom-inator Lundberg who held him to only 11 points. Slick Nick Arra tossed in 6 points while playing multiple positions due to Ethan Get-Go Greco getting hurt in the 7th grade game. Always Tough Tyler Kitzberger put in 4 points and banged with the big boys as usual fighting for rebounds. Anthony Rebound Robinson battled again down low fighting for rebounds and blocking shots, plus scoring 2 points and proving that his tenacity last Monday wasn’t a fluke. Zach Attack Doell scored a deuce as well and also battled down low fighting for the ball.
Tough, high energy defense combined with great court vision and a willingness to pass to open teammates is a winning formula, leading to our 11-1 record.
