The Brookside Boys Varsity Basketball team picked up their first win of the season in a hard-fought battle against Clearview. The Cardinals jumped out to an early 15 point lead at the end of the first half on some hot shooting including 9 made 3-pointers. Clearview closed the gap in the second half, and sent the game into overtime on a 3-pointer at the buzzer. The Cardinals ultimately emerged victorious, 60-57.
Leading the way for the Cardinals was Senior Gabe Pawloski with 17 points including five 3-pointers. Sophomore Avery Young chipped in 15 points in the victory.
