Brookside Athletic Passes 2017-2018

  The Brookside High School Athletic Department will be selling Athletic Passes for the Winter and Spring Sports season of 2017-2018.  These passes will be available beginning Wednesday, November 8th at the Athletic Office. BMS Wrestling takes down the Pioneers

The Brookside Middle School Wrestling team traveled to Westwood Middle school on Wednesday night to take on the Elyria Pioneers. BMS wrestling starts season off strong

Your middle school wrestling team opened up their season this year at Huron High School in a 16 team tournament. Every wrestler at least had the chance to wrestle at least two times and at most five. Lots of wrestlers earned their first career wins while others picked up where they left off last year

CAB Meeting Monday 7pm

The Cardinal Athletic Boosters will meet on Monday, 9/18 at 7pm at BHS in the Library.  Please consider attending this meeting to get involved with supporting our young athletes.

Varsity Cards Wrestling take 2nd

Brookside High School Wrestling Cardinals continued on with their season of tournament success, finishing second at Berea-Midpark Tournament. Cards are Champs at Firestone

The Brookside Cardinals Wrestling team started the holidays off in a winning fashion.  They won the JB Firestone Tournament at Black River High School.  The Cards wrestling shorthanded do to several injuries, bested the 12 other teams who attended the tournament.  The score was announced, in an interesting fashion, after 182 pounds with Brookside and

Bookside Cards 2nd in Cuyahoga Heights

The Brookside Cardinals Wrestling team returned to action on 12/10 athe Cuyahoga Heights Redskin Invitational.  THe Cards finished in second place just 4 and half points out of the lead. Some highlights for the Cards were David Ocasio finishing first in his division with a perfect 5-0 record including 4 pins and a major decision.

Taw and Wolford Taking the Next Step

Dudley Taw and Cullen Wolford who are two outstanding athletes from Brookside High School look to take the next step in their young student/athlete careers. Cards at Lorain County All – Stars!

The wrestling team capped off their season last evening with an all star extravaganza at Elyria High School last evening where all the best wrestlers in the County were represented.  For the Cards: Brad Huhn, Greg Packard, Cody Nusbaum, Chas Jackson, Jacob Stoehr, Anthony Chambers, and Matt Kime.  Great season Guys!!

Huhn Goes to State Tournament!

Junior Brad Huhn placed 4th at Districts this year qualifying for the OHSAA Division II tournament this past weekend in Columbus.  Brad faced a tough draw in his first match against a very good wrestler from Akron Archbishop Hoban, who ended up placing 3rd overall, losing 5-0.  In his second bout he was defeated 5-2
